Northland Civil Defence

Northland Civil Defence is a group of local residents who have volunteered to plan and coordinate the community’s response to a disaster. We are based at Northland School and are supported by the Wellington Emergency Management Office (WEMO), which is part of the Wellington City Council.

Up until August 2009 we met on the third Tuesday of every month but we now meet on the first Thursday of every month (except January) at Northland School (usually in the staffroom) at 7pm and you are welcome to pop in and say hello.
